What kind of websites were you planning to build?
Anything to do with my work which includes behavioral research in a developing region.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
I believe it was a referral on a number of software lists that I subscribe to (mainly Nisus software and the products from OmniGroup). I had used Dreamweaver before (nightmare) and had created sites in early editions of iWeb (not my finest hour).
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
Definitely ease of use. I was (and had done some) coding by hand to get anything like the minimum results I wanted without my site screaming 'rank amateur'. I wanted the results to be clean and acceptable rather than cutting edge. When you live in a developing region with scarce resources, you have to be able to do a bit of everything well. I liked the way that Sandvox allows me to also take code from elsewhere and snip it in. Since I'm not a coder, I appreciate the cut and paste ability.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
I am a newbie to Web 2.0. I was pleasantly surprised how easy Sandvox made it possible to figure out how to incorporate Web 2.0 tech into the sites built with Sandvox.
I also like the fact that I can set cut in other web sites (such as sub-domains) with a different look at feel, so it's possible to not be tied to a single theme.
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?

I like the way that our front page can link to features on our Facebook page (which is dormant until...”
