What kind of websites were you planning to build?

We had an old site for our nonprofit organization and it was difficult to update. So I looked at various site builder programs that were easy enough for a novice, and chose Sandvox. I've rebuilt the site, which is an archive of sorts—a library of materials and resources collected over the past 30 years related to the education of refugee and immigrant children, with a focus on Southeast Asians.

How did you hear about Sandvox?

I found it by Google searching and reading reviews. I tried out a few different programs on a trial basis, and chose Sandvox.

What made you decide to get Sandvox?

My choices were to hire a site developer or find a way to do it myself. Because the content required some specific knowledge to organize it in a way that made sense, I wanted to do it myself. I tried a few different site builder programs recommended for the Mac, and decided on Sandvox. The deciding factor was the ease of manipulating and linking pages and files.

Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?

It's easy! The results are impressive. It appears that I'll be able to update the site regularly without resorting to code—which I know nothing about.

What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
