What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I wanted to produce a website for a community of friars who want to communicate effectively with the world, but not have to become html programmers to do so.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
One of the friars in my community downloaded the freeware version of Sandvox and put together a mock website to show the rest of us what could be possible.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
I've used a professional web designer in the past and while the result was a beautiful website, it was very difficult to change because the program used was so technical. Sandvox made creating the website fun - and I'll be more likely to add to it because it's so easy.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
I like the fact that I could modify pre-existing templates to personalize them, as well as the ability to add new functionality to it as I learn about other features of the program.
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
St. Albert's Priory
“I chose the dark gray Aurora Palace design and used an image fill I made using a graphic from the website of the Province our community belongs to. This made a visual connection between the "parent" entities website and our community website.”
