What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I built my website as a one-stop shop for patients and clinicians looking for expert information on a rare, orphan, neuromuscular disease in the group of disorders known as myofibrillar myopathy (MFM). I hope to attract life science researchers to contribute content and build a social media community site for scientists researching MFM.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
Sandvox was my first choice for building my site, which I began after just acquiring a Mac. Up until then, I had been a Windows only user for years and had considered using Wordpress. But when my PC died and I decided to move to Apple, what a stunner! Apple is so intuitive--why hadn't I adopted it earlier?, I thought. And Sandvox?--it was a no-brainer. Very, very versatile and robust to use.
