What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I wanted to make a simple, informative website for my own music and IT work. Since both are related, I want to be able to share experiences and tested/true methods, as well as sell my own music.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
Based on my Google search for Mac OSX website creation
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
I tried RapidWeaver and a few others and was not impressed with the interface. I design sites for a living using Java/JDBC/Ajax/JSON and etc. so I could have easily done it myself. For once, I wanted to relax and make some thing simple, with a simple tool that would make maintenance easy - Sandvox is the best I've seen.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
First of all, the publish function is a godsend in comparison to what I had to do to maintain a completely flash based site. The WYSIWYG interface is the easiest and most bug free interface I've used in a long time. All in all, it's so easy to maintain your own site using this software, it's hard to believe. If you are a Mac user, this software just makes sense, it's true to Apple form.
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
