I wanted to build a website revolving around my recreational outdoor activities with friends.

A friend said he loved Sandvox (and he's pretty picky as he writes his own programs!)

Sandvox came highly recommended. Also I found the interface intuitive and the tools productive.

It's a an easy to use, yet very powerful web page creation program.
