Describe your website.
I have links to audio material that I have engineered and/or produced, pictures/video from sessions and related situations, a page detailing my computer consulting work, a blog detailing some experiences, a list of clients and equipment that I use. A lot of the links on my site lead to expanded information about the things that I do.
The site allows me to have all pertinent information in a convenient place.
Who is the target audience for your website?
Anyone needing audio engineering or production, system design or computer consulting services would be interested in my site.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
I believe the advantage is the most important information is easy to find, yet there is more in-depth stuff that may keep a visitor occupied for awhile.
Tell us a story about this website.
I have some audio and music equipment that I was(am) selling for a friend whose husband had died. I was able to link to my site from the services that I was using to list the equipment and provide more detailed information for potential buyers.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I am using a modified version of Skyline, where I replaced the cityscape with a picture of an audio console. I like the color scheme.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I have not yet, but I plan doing some things employing PHP and MySQL... probably some JavaScript as well.
