Describe your website.

My website does four things:
1- Advertises products (wine cellar apps) produced by Cadent.
2- Hosts the download files for these products.
3- Offers a cloud service for the wineCellar app (Mac, Windows, and iPhone).
4- Host a weblog (via Sandvox) and a forum for community building.

Who is the target audience for your website?

Anyone who want to know more about Cadent wineCellar or needs support on using wineCellar. Also, those who have an account in the "Cadent Cloud" and want to use the web interface to their wine collection.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

My website is focused on simplicity and speed. As such, there are no flash components or any advertising at all. This will help to reduce consumer frustration with having to deal with screen clutter and slow performance.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

I really like the tabs of the Blueball Pro Tab template. Also, the graphic "frame" which surrounds each page gives a clean, professional look.

What techniques did you use to build this website?

I first wrote my cloud service by hand and raw PHP and HTML. The resulting pages were just forms on a white background. I evolved these pages and debugged them over the course of a month.

Once they worked as I wanted, I then created empty pages in Sandvox and injected the PHP and HTML forms into these pages creating the cloud service within the Blueball Pro Tabs template.
