Describe your website.
The site is designed to give an overview of our domiciliary care business. We wanted to ensure that it was clear we come from a slightly different background to normal care agencies. We can only "sell" our services by personal contact so all the site can do is try and give a brief flavour.
Who is the target audience for your website?
People based in Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire or surrounding areas. They will be looking for care in their own home. They may be elderly and in need of assistance but there are many other conditions we can help with, alzheimers, any form of disability both physical and learning.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
It tries to make clear our approach which we believe is different from the standard way of doing things. But our website (like our business) is a work in progress so hopefully we can bring things out as we go. Being in direct control means we can react swiftly.
Tell us a story about this website.
It's too new for much to have happened but it seemed to impress my colleagues who seem to think I know more than I do. Perhaps I shouldn't disabuse them.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
It was clean and simple and enabled me to use the banner image I wanted at the top of the page. This helped me follow the broad outlook of the head franchisors site but left me free to do what I wanted.
I like it's simple elegance.
