Describe your website.
This site supports and sells our book "The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera". Eleuthera is one of the 700 islands that make up The Bahamas. The current edition of the book was published in 2007 and we are planning a 10th anniversary edition next year.
Who is the target audience for your website?
We try to provide information that tourists will need while they are here. We also released a DVD of "Images of Eleuthera" that any contemplating a trip here will find invaluable.
Tell us a story about this website.
This site was literally put together over a long weekend and has remained mostly untouched for about two years. It is due to be revised when we release the new edition of the book next year.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
This was the first site where I experimented with PicLens now called CoolIris. I used a Raw HTML page to paste in the code supplied by CoolIris and the Page Code Injector to add some JavaScript and custom CSS code.
