Describe your website.
My website contains galleries that show commissioned projects created for a variety of types of clients -- homes, churches, cruise ships and other settings -- and with a range of themes. There's a section about my professional background, technical info, an Amazon list, personal projects, a weblog and what's new section.
Here are a few project profiles.
Who is the target audience for your website?
My website is geared toward professional designers/specifiers of custom artwork, collectors and fellow artists.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
My website shows numerous projects successfully executed for high-profile clents: hotels, cruise lines, churches and synagogues, municipal parks and elegant homes. I've included a link to an article I wrote for Traditional Building magazine that provides designer guidelines for planning a commissioned project.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
The Serengeti design provided the widest strip to display a panoramic mural that is showcased on every page. I also preferred its color palette and default fonts.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I found that embedding layers of galleries allowed me to include a large number of images, divided among gallery types that provide clear organization.
