Describe your website.
The purpose of my website is to provide potential clients a place to see my previous work as an editor and camera operator; view and download my website; and find contact information for me. I also have a photos page that I hope to link up to my IMDb page.
Who is the target audience for your website?
The target audience for my website would be potential clients and employers who require video production work.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
I believe that my website is well organized and makes it easy for visitors to view my previous work, download my resume, and contact me directly. They can also easily link to my IMDb profile which helps build credibility in the video industry.
Tell us a story about this website.
The same day I spread the word of my new site on social media websites I got an email from a potential client and will be meeting with him tomorrow!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I feel like the design I chose was simple and clean, but the pink (called red) gives it a bit of flair.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
For the section of my site to focus my previous work as an editor and camera operator, I used the photo grid. The photo grid itself includes a thumbnail of separate pieces of work I use to showcase my work. Then, by clicking on one of the image in the grid, the corresponding page includes the video the thumbnail represents.
