Describe your website.
Pictures of food and people. We have an enormous amount of customers that want to order our stuff and don't know what it will look like. We thought we would include people because we all make it happen every day. Menus that are downloadable so that people can either read it online or download and print a PDF file. Daily specials menus, these vary each day so we need to be able to change.
Who is the target audience for your website?
Our target customer is looking for prepared foods, catering or gourmet specialties and cares more about the quality of food rather than price.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
I feel I have designed a web site that shows off some of what we do, but certainly only a fraction. Our customers know and love us and many are in the store every day of the week. Where I would like to end up is having a blog that showcases recipes, details in store events and still spotlights new products and ideas that we put out.
Tell us a story about this website.
This is the store's 4th web site design...
#1 $3500, dysfunctional and awkward to navigate
#2 $FREE - but the designer linked everything back to his web site to sell his own stuff - nice!
#2.5 $9000 - partners brother in law wanted to do us a favor and fix the site. Thankfully we didn't go for it.
#3 $1200 - never finished & all the pictures were somebody else's food.
#4 $79 Sandvox - there is a God
