As the Sewing Chairman for the 2012 National Square Dance Convention ® and had to get the instructions for our festival outfits to dancers all across Washington State. On the web site I was able to post detailed instructions and pictures. Stitchers could use the web site to ask me questions or make suggestions.
The reason that I started this website is that there is no one source for information about this type of sewing. On this site there are instructions for other garments, such as pettipants, and craft items related to square, round and folk dancing.
Who is the target audience for your website?
Square, round and folk dancers who want to see their own ensembles will find information and instructions on this site. Input from dancers is encouraged to share sewing tips and techniques.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
Right now my web site is blue, a few months ago it was orange. It was suggested that I change the design of the website occasionally to show that it is a work in progress and that there is new stuff posted. with Sandvox it is so easy to change the look of the site and to update the information.
