Describe your website.
My goal is to put up a fun website with all kinds of information. There are slide shows of each of us, a page to let others know where we will be playing live, a link to Sound Cloud to stream our songs, and credit for those who helped us with the CD project.
Who is the target audience for your website?
The website was mostly designed to compliment our CD. We are giving the music away to friends and family. It is a place they can send their friends and family to.
Tell us a story about this website.
Swanky Records is a fictitious company. We recorded in my basement. However, to put a fun spin on things, I created this record company to brand our music. The website is more a form of humor than it is a business.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
Our album art has a black background with a colorful dot design. On the inside is silver writing on black background. I thought the Slate Manifest would give me the best effect.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I used photoshop to build some of the pages. After cutting, pasting, sizing and layering many objects into the image, I copied it and pasted into Sandvox as one picture.
