It includes a maple Q&A page and a videos page where visitors can learn about how maple syrup is made here. The are also a pages describing the health benefits of eating maple syrup recipes and a slideshow of photos of life on the farm
Who is the target audience for your website?
Our target audience is anyone who wants to learn about making maple syrup using energy that is produced on the farm. Also there is a web store on the site where customers can purchase our products.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
The advantage of our maple syrup is that it is certified organic and is produced with on farm produced sustainable energy from the wind, sun firewood and biodiesel fuel. We don't know of any other maple producers who do that.
Tell us a story about this website.
We have had a website for several years. Only recently we rebuilt it with Sandvox. The new site looks much like the old one. We have received compliments on the looks and the information there. The web store allows customers to buy maple syrup and have it mailed to them. The majority of our sales are made locallly to stores, restaurants, and farmer's markets.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I liked the simplicity of the look, the size of the banner, and the available background colors.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I think our site is really quite simply made. I used the basic capabilities of Sandvox
