My paintings involve people and how they relate to the world around them. I start with an idea and remain open to what may evolve. In my current series, I explore the relationship between people and their cats. In the process, it is the personalities of the cats that emerge while the people become secondary. I begin to examine the nature of ownership and as a result title my current series "Cats And Their People".
