Describe your website.
To promote my scholarly and popular work regarding theism, Christianity, atheism, deism, pantheism, panentheism, and pandeism. I have written a very popular book called There Was No Jesus, There Is No God and spend a lot of time giving talks and participating in debates. I promote religious tolerance and combat religious exclusivism through education.
Who is the target audience for your website?
Atheists mainly. Though plenty of believers find my respectful approach refreshing and are genuinely interested in hearing about the state of the evidence.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
I am an 'uncommitted' scholar that considers and is open to all possibilities. I look at the evidence and honestly report on what I think are the most probable explanations. Unlike many dogmatic folks on the believer and non-believer side, I promote religious tolerance.
Tell us a story about this website.
Karelia will love this! A beloved mentor of mine is very good at handing out constructive (i.e. heartbreaking) criticism, rarely handing out praise. Heard of the stick and carrot approach? This mentor is all stick. After looking at my Sandvox-created website, she used a word for the first time. My mentor said it was 'excellent' :D
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
It looked very clean. The graphic was appropriate, in that I so tend to promote pantheistic god-models (pantheists usually love nature) and I am an avid rock-climber.
