Describe your website.

My website is designed to display my acrylic/mixed media paintings in my online art gallery, and my wire-wrapped handcrafted jewelry including personal name pendant necklaces. I use my blog "Micki's Mouthpiece™" to talk about my life and my artwork; and where people can learn more about me.

Who is the target audience for your website?

My target audience would be anyone who loves textured figurative, abstract and landscape-type paintings and wire-wrap jewelry. If someone would love to have their name, or a loved one's name written in silver or gold wire, handcrafted by an artist, I have what they are looking for! If someone is looking for a unique gift of a miniature painting embedded in resin and made into a pendant, I can accommodate them.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

I'm a bit of a perfectionist and expect a lot out of myself when it comes to a finished product. I want my artwork and jewelry to be the best they can be, so my customers can wear or hang their artwork with pride.

Tell us a story about this website.

Everyone that has looked at my website that I made with Sandvox mentions how professional it looks. I have been told that it is really easy to get around, and that they thought the design was very attractive to look at.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

As an artist, I choose a darker colored website. The black background color really helped make my artwork and jewelry "pop"!

What techniques did you use to build this website?

It was very easy for me to insert a shopping cart using Google Checkout and E-Junkie directly under my products on each page of my site using the raw HTML insert from Sandvox.
