Describe your website.

This site provides visitors with a Mission Statement for the Program Evaluation Research Laboratory (PERL) in the Department of Psychology at American University in Washington, DC. Current research projects being conducted by students at PERL are described. Bios and photos of current members of PERL, and some alum's, are provided as well. The lab is pictured, too.

Who is the target audience for your website?

Applicants to the MA Program in General Psychology, the Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology, and the Ph.D. program in Behavior, Cognition, and Neuroscience, all in the Department of Psychology at American University in Washington, DC, may be interested in viewing this site. Program evaluators also may be encouraged by viewing this site.

Tell us a story about this website.

This and all my sites were original developed on iWeb and hosted by MobileMe. My computer needed its hard drive erased, and I could not reconstruct the iWeb files for this or my other sites, and MobileMe was closing down in a few months anyway, so I decided to recreate all my sites using new software that stored each site in a separate file (thank you, SandVox!) and on a new host. Visitors say my sites load more rapidly, and I'm lots happier. The next migration should be so much easier!

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

It resembled the design I used before for this site in iWeb.
