Describe your website.
My website and blog is a place where I can post theological reflections, cultural commentary, and other writings about me and my passions. No brain washing here, but I have plenty of Togo pics. Togo is my pet Senegal Parrot.
Who is the target audience for your website?
I have geared my website for those who are looking for an alternative narrative to fundamentalist thinking, especially with respect to those who are people of deep faith who want to engage more deeply in a spiritual life. As a progressive Christian, my hope is to share insights from twenty-plus years of pastoring congregations in the Upper Midwest.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
I'm The Smiling Heretic. There aren't many others, so I don't think I have much competition!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I am using the "Clean Sheets" design. I like it's simple lines, uncluttered appearance, and plenty of white space.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I'm not doing anything fancy on my site, but I really like the Google integration, which has made it so easy to obtain high ranking in Google searches after just a few weeks.
