Sandvox Website Profile: “Susan Johnston Consulting: Professional Development for Community Colleges and Universities”

My website has five menu tabs to inform potential clients about my educational consulting business: Home Page, Consulting Services, Recent Publications, Client Testimonials, and Academic Career.

The target audience for my website is intended to be personnel responsible for planning and offering professional development opportunities for faculty members at community colleges and universities. I collaborate with administrators, department chairs, program coordinators, and grant directors to plan strategies designed to increase instructional effectiveness with the goal of increasing student academic achievement.

My website is extremely user-friendly and contains very specific information and examples of the services that I offer as well as testimonials from previous clients.

Since I so recently published this website, I do not yet have an anecdote or story.

I chose the particular Sandvox design I am using because I liked its clean, streamlined, and professional appearance. I also liked the menu tab option instead of having the menu links as titles. The design also seemed to match the way I wanted my content to be presented. I have received many compliments on the design from friends and associates to whom I just sent the url.

I was able to go to Amazon and locate photos of books in which I had published chapters. I copied those photos onto the page titled Recent Publications.
