The site includes information about each of my three bands: Windhorse Large Ensemble, LC Quintet, and Jazz + Jest. There's a page about my CD, October, a discography page, and the companion blog for my radio show, Beauty and the Beat.
Who is the target audience for your website?
People who are interested in my site are jazz lovers, people who are interested in creative music, chamber music, and hybrid music. Listeners to my radio show on WBCR-lp, Beauty and the Beat, visit the site to view weekly playlists.
The site is also for concert promoters and music venues who are interested in booking one of my bands.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
Aside from my music activities, I'm also a graphic designer by profession. I chose the Grafite design from Behind the Rabbit because I prefer very clean designs, and Grafite offers the most uncluttered look (aside from plain white themes).
