Describe your website.

The home page includes our weekly worship services, address, map of our location, and map of the campus. There is a visitors page with information about the church and a slideshow of different events/people. The weekly sermons are accessible on the sermons page and the parish calendar is automatically updated via our Google apps calendar and is accessible through our news/calendar page. There is a resources page primarily for parishioners that includes such things as a password protected directory, serving schedules, customaries, etc. We have a very active prayer and healing ministry and our prayer request page has been accessed from around the world by people requesting prayers. The historic chapel was built in 1883 and was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places so there is a page dedicated to photos and information on its history. Our Food Bank and Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) outreach programs are also directly accessible through individualized pages.

Who is the target audience for your website?

Our website is designed primarily with the visitor in mind - someone who is looking for a church home, and whose first question is going to the be times of our Sunday services. But it is also a place for anyone, not just those who live within driving distance, to seek prayer for any needs they might have. Our parishioners use the website as a place to find up to date information on what is going on in the life of the congregation.

Tell us a story about this website.

Our last three new families found us through a Google search, and reading through our website found in it a place of welcome.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

This design seemed to be the easiest to customize to my needs
