Describe your website.
Elaine Way, soprano, UK, opera
Who is the target audience for your website?
Anyone who likes opera and classical music, potential employers, musical directors and peers. And my Mum!
What is the advantage of your website over others?
My website has a straightforward to use, but sleek design. It details my work and will (when I have completed them) allow people to listen to examples of my voice. It has a great gallery facility too.
Tell us a story about this website.
I love the satisfaction of hearing 'you did that yourself?'!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I love the sleek and dark pages. I wanted a very simple homepage to provide a photo of me and then easy to use banners/ buttons to navigate. The template had the minimal black design I was looking for, and a grey text that was good to read and easy on the eyes. There was so much personal flexibility too - I liked that I could add or remove sidebars, change fonts, colours and the gallery was just so easy to produce. It really was a case of drag and drop. I really could not have hoped for more and I am absolutely blown away with the results.
