What kind of websites were you planning to build?
An artist's website to show my recent and other work, with a blog to make it more interesting
How did you hear about Sandvox?
It was a Google search, but I don't remember exactly which page produced the answer.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
I found many recommendations from ex-iWeb/Mobile Me users. I'd had bad experiences with a couple of the larger companies in the past, whose builders were fairly incomprehensible and required third-party products like Fetch. I only want these processes to be simple. This looked like it would be.
I wanted to be able to build and maintain my own site. Also I feel that, in this day and age, anyone who is reasonably web-literate should be able to build their own site. I didn't want to have to depend on anyone else to do it for me.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
I like Sandvox a lot. It is simple. It's very much like iWeb, but in some ways even easier to use.
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
website builders that an ex-iWeb/mobile me user would be comfortable using
