What kind of websites were you planning to build?

We are rebuilding our site "Autism and the Art of Communication" using Sandvox (previously used Coffee Cup). This website is educational in nature and is the nexus of a larger project which includes a blog, a YouTube channel (with teaching videos), a Facebook page and a Twitter account. The site that we have just put back online is quite basic and we'll be adding more sections to it in the coming weeks. I like the fact that updating the website is so simple.

How did you hear about Sandvox?

Your product was recommended in a review site that was doing side-by-side comparisons of Mac website software programs

What made you decide to get Sandvox?

I want to be able to build and manage my professional website from my laptop computer, without having to learn a lot about HTML. Since our site is non-profit, we need to keep costs low, and so "do it yourself" with polished end-product was appealing.

Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?

So far, the user interface has been direct and easy to use. I like the "copy & paste" and "drag & drop" capability. Updates are easy and the website looks professional.

What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?

Autism and the Art of Communication

“I chose "Outside the Lines" because that describes how we work (and the visual matched our artistic content). I like the fact that we can replace the photo banner with our own picture featuring the artwork of individuals on the autism spectrum - it gives the site more individual character.”
