What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I needed a site to advertise and support my iPhone (and latter possibly Mac) applications. I also use it to point to my online photos.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
Sandvox was recommended by several people on the MacSB mailing list.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
I'd started with a site using Wordpress, but that was just too heavy and complex a tool to use for the site I wanted - blogging isn't a particular feature of what I want to do, thought the Sandvox blogging elements will be useful.
I looked at a number of Mac options - iWeb, RapidWeaver, Sandvox - and Sandvox seemed to be the best fit of useability and customisablity.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
It works simply. I set up the pages on my local machine how I want them and hit 'publish'. Thirty seconds later they're on my server.
