What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I needed to replace my existing website, open since 1997 and built with FrontPage, with a Mac-based software program. I was looking for as simple a transition as possible. The design could differ from the hundreds of static web pages already on the site, but with a few elements to reassure readers that they hadn't left the site unexpectedly.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
I searched for html editors for macs, and then read the reviews of the leading highly rated software programs. Sandvox was well-rated, relatively inexpensive, and looked to be pretty simple to learn.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
While researching the program, I looked at the sandvox sites web pages, to see how successful folks were with the templates. I then tried the free trial download, and worked up a test site. That experience convinced me I could handle the transition from the PC-based software to Sandvox's Mac environment without too much difficulty.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
I'm pleased with how the process works. I'm especially pleased that I was able to integrate links to the rest of my long-running website, while also publishing new pages with a good linkage arrangement.
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
