What kind of websites were you planning to build?

Our church moved from an out-sourced website to an in-house website. We wanted to be able to update the website quickly, to post sermons (podcasts and print), and to keep our congregation and our visitors informed about our wide variety of activities.

How did you hear about Sandvox?

When our church decided to bring the website in-house, we knew that iWeb would be inadequate for our needs. We tested several website development packages and after comparing four, we chose Sandvox.

What made you decide to get Sandvox?

We chose Sandvox for the ease of use, the ability to make changes quickly, the ability to modify HTML/CSS if needed, and the wide selection of themes. We also felt Sandvox was the most Mac-friendly of the packages we tested.

Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?

I especially like the ability to do fast turnaround. On occasion, I have been asked, "Can you...?" and 10-15 minutes later I've added a new page or modified an old page. I like the pagelets, which we widely use on our website.

What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?

“We use many types of pages and pagelets. We have done only minor code modification as most things work well as is. Our website is always changing/updating, so we will probably discover even more things we can do with Sandvox. We have an online interactive calendar, links to several outside...”
