What kind of websites were you planning to build?
I have recently converted my history web site from iWeb to Sandvox. The site features a history of the county of Sussex in England, its castles and other historic sites. The Google Maps object is a great help for people planning visits to the castles!
How did you hear about Sandvox?
Found Sandvox in dpreview.com in their Mac forum, in a thread discussing iWeb replacements.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
Primarily ease of use combined with reasonable formatting options without having to resort to HTML, Javascript or CSS.
I have used a variety of web development and scripting tools, but for my history web site I am more interested in the content, not the underlying code.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
1. Easy to change look and feel across site using designs.
2. Easy to build and maintain pages.
3. Very Mac-like interface, e.g. the menu items and inspectors are where you would expect them and function the way you would expect.
4. Collection a very useful tool for managing groups of related pages.
5. Can insert objects and raw HTML on pages.
What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?

“I once had an email some student doing a project on castles. He had only found the site though google because we had both misspelt the name of a castle the same way!”
