What kind of websites were you planning to build?
This is my first site (www.nightmare.gig.com) using Sandvox and while I'm still tweaking it, it has got up and running extremely fast.
The site is devoted to collecting musician's stories of road gigs gone wrong: "Nightmare gigs from Hell" which I intend to publish as a book in the future. Plus the ability to share stories and recollections that I hope musicians of all styles would enjoy.
So the ability to have a blog on the site was a huge plus.
How did you hear about Sandvox?
My Mac tech guy recommended Sandvox Pro he said I'd appreciate its interface and graphic designer, user friendly approach. While I know some html, i'd rather be doing the visuals, etc.
What made you decide to get Sandvox?
I was tired of working with HTML. I'm a graphic designer by trade and the coding/behind-the-scenes work(while necessary) has never been my strong suit.
So Sandvox is a big shift in how I can get sites up and running and looking good.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
There's a multitude of features that make this appealing:
1. An ever-growing number of design templates
2. The blog features that get you up and running quickly
3. Lots of nice automatic features: roll-overs, mail scripts, RSS feeds, the tweaking you can do on every page - the list seems endless.

“We are just getting starting at blogging on this site - trying to drive people from Facebook, Twitter to the site itself - to watch clips and listen to music, and see the band's schedule.”
