Our band's original website was built from scratch, using html and was really getting outdated. I wanted to be able to include a blog, video, music, more active links to social networking. And I also wanted a cleaner, leaner design, since the trend seems to be more toward WordPress-looking sites. So it is a definite upgrade in aesthetics and functionality.

We are just getting starting at blogging on this site - trying to drive people from Facebook, Twitter to the site itself - to watch clips and listen to music, and see the band's schedule.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I needed a theme where I could swap out the banner image. I really like using the sidebar - because it can always post the band's current schedule and quick links to Facebook and Twitter.
