Describe your website.

The college website was done to focus on the wonderful memories of our undergraduate college years at Salem College. The goal was to put into words and pictures the memories which were shared among 160 classmates. The site is organized by undergraduate years and is designed so that pages can be added of what classmates and their families are currently doing, where they live, and what they want to share with others via the web.

Who is the target audience for your website?

I think this is a good example of a rather unique use for a website whether it's a school reunion or a family reunion. I have done a similar thing for my family. It's also a wonderful way to keep "in the loop" those unable to attend such events. Though I didn't do this, it would have added to the site to have live interviews with some of the classmates.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

This is not a website for my business, but there is a link to my business at the bottom of the page. My business is www.websitebyJo.com

Tell us a story about this website.

My reunion website has gotten MANY compliments and accolades. It was passed around many offices and faculty for them to read and provided a good laugh for many.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

The design and color seemed to lend itself well for a college that was founded in 1772!

What techniques did you use to build this website?

Sorry, this was just a simple website. Actually it was the first one I used Sandvox. That should tell you how easy Sandvox is to use.

This website was created by Jo Faulman of Naples, FL in winter; Traverse City, MI, in summer.
