Describe your website.

My website contains information about myself (the artist),numerous examples of my work (mainly portrait and figurative subjects)in oil and pastel.

The purpose of my website is to promote my artwork, to link up with fellow artists and to share ideas with them. Eventually, I hope to have a blog section to facilitate these objectives.

Who is the target audience for your website?

My target audience is other artists, gallery owners, friends and acquaintances who may be interested in seeing my work and prospective art buyers. The last group are likely to be people who have been attracted to my work hanging in exhibitions in the UK and want to see more of what I do.

Tell us a story about this website.

Some of the portrait subjects in my work have been inspired by the experiences in my main career as a psychiatric social worker, particularly my contact with patients in Romanian mental hospitals.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

I was attracted to its simple, unfussy format. Something more elaborate would have detracted from the display of my paintings, which is the main impact I want to make.
