Tell us a story about this website.
The GoldenStateRedWing.com www.site launched in 1997 with static pictures & graphics. In 2011 to celebrate our 25th anniversary we added videos of our activities & educational accomplishments. Sandvox was chosen to build the www.site because it easily integrates iMovie & iPhoto files into a www.site.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
Black & White design was chosen because it was the least intrusive format available. It was hard to choose a design because the design menu does not list important attributes like page width in pixels. After building the site I discovered that the chosen design could not support my ideal 960 pxl page width.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I like pages that are tightly packed with information. When I began creating the www.site using the black & white format there was a big empty gap at the top of each page. It was only after I discovered that the logo feature could be resized into a banner across the top of all pages that I could get the density I like.
