Describe your website.
Our website was designed to attract visitors coming to Tulbagh, South Africa to stay at our bed and breakfast. We offer boutique guesthouse accommodations and hope that through the promotion on our website they decide to stay with us.
Who is the target audience for your website?
We cater to anyone coming to Tulbagh. We offer family accommodations, wedding and honeymoon accommodations, and cater to the single traveller as well.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
We offer an experience to our guests, not just a room! After visiting our website, guests should know that it's the beauty that surrounds us, the luxury offered in each cottage, and the personal service that sets us apart from the rest.
Tell us a story about this website.
We often get told that the beauty of Villa Tarentaal and Tulbagh cannot be captured in a picture. While the site is great, it is so much better in person!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I choose the "simply grey" design for both its simplicity and its elegance. The color scheme works well for what we are trying to present AND it was not so busy that visitors would miss your message.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I'm still getting this right, but I used page injection to put on our own banner. It is not quite centered, but I'm planning on redoing in HTML5 soon, so am not worried.
