Describe your website.

My website is designed as a first point of call for potential clients, and introduces how I use mindfulness and sensitive touch in my massage practice. A summary of treatment options helps clients to decide whether I have something to offer for them, be it mobile massage or holistic massage, deep tissue massage, Thai massage, acupressure chair massage, post exercise massage. And they can learn a little about me, and what inspires me. I will also share my inspirations and make suggestions about enhancing our well being.

Who is the target audience for your website?

As my therapy is tailored to individual needs, potentially everybody benefits from mindful massage and sensitive touch. But more specifically, I am advertising my mobile massage services in Gloucestershire, the Forest of Dean and Bristol areas.
From fully clothed seated acupressure massage to Thai massage and deep tissue massage work, I am working with a wide range of techniques to enhance the natural balance and wellbeing of my clients.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

My mobile massage services can be delivered at places of work and from the comfort of peoples homes. This creates more opportunities for clients to access my therapy without having to juggle appointments in their already busy lives.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

I liked the cleanliness and the colours of my particular design. I also wanted to be able to use customised banners, which I have done and can still expand upon.

What techniques did you use to build this website?

I created drop down submenus with the design I use and I am very happy to have found a way of organising my site well. I will also use my blog page as a way to add new material every now and then in order to catch peoples interest as well as maintaining relevance for google searches. In future I would also consider embedding video into my site.
I am using a customised banner, which was a must for me and I am planing to develop that idea further in terms of creating different banners for different pages.
I like the fact that I can add pages to my site but not publish them immediately, so new draft ideas don't get lost.

This website was created by Peter Kramer. He has also built The Forest Bakehouse using Sandvox.
