Describe your website.

The home page of my web site features the title of a crowd sourced romance novel I am creating. On this home page, I describe the plot of my novel, The Heart Doctor.

Other pages in my web site list a detailed plot of The Heart Doctor and biographies, with pictures of the characters in my novel.

Who is the target audience for your website?

I will use a page on the Goodreads web site to attract amateur writers and professional writers to my crowd sourced novel project. Once attracted, I use Goodreads to direct fiction writers, particularly fiction writers of romance novels to my Sandvox web page where complete information for authors is available.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

The Sandvox web page allows me to present professional quality writing and images characteristic of romance novels. I needed to attract creative fiction writers to donate their writing to my project. The Sandvox web site makes a favorable impression on romance writers of fiction

Tell us a story about this website.

Participating authors have told me that the text and graphics on my The Heart Doctor / zendogbarks web site helped them envision their contribution to the group sourced romance novel.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

My romance novel, The Heart Doctor, takes place in San Francisco, California. I was able to use Sandvox to insert graphics of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline at night. The interior pages of my zendogbarks web site allowed me to list the full plot of my romance novel and present the character biographies of the characters in the crowd sourced romance novel.

What techniques did you use to build this website?

I wanted to be able to introduce potential fiction authors to the concept of the crowd sourced novel. Those authors needed to know the plot of the romance novel and to understand the motivations of the characters in the romance novel itself. I was able to interest authors by placing graphics of pictures of people on the Internet in the page where character biographies are shown. Authors could then read the biographies, and the plot while looking at pictures of the fictitious characters.
