Describe your website.
This is the teen page for the North Castle Public Library. My goal was to have a single page that let the kids go many places - to the main library catalog, to the Byram Hills schools, to our databases, magazines and newspapers, to our online reading club, our Facebook, and so on. Since I first submitted the site, I've added a custom banner, a blog, a photo blog (the Quest!), and some other great features. I really enjoy maintaining and updating the page.
Who is the target audience for your website?
This site is for kids in Armonk, New York, who are in middle school or high school. It offers them games, an online book club, links for homework help, the library catalog and databases, and instruction in how to use the catalog. It can also be of use to college students and to parents and teachers.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I had chosen a different design initially, but went to this one because it was also cool-looking but had a banner I could customize.
