Describe your website.
THINK FEEL DO is an emotional education program that teaches children an emotions language to help them manage their feelings. By using feeling faces word cards children can expand their awareness of their own emotions, learn emotional control, and become more resilient and successful
Who is the target audience for your website?
Parents of children with autism, Asperger's, ADHD, or other emotional disabilities who have problems regulating their feelings. Therapists who work with autistic children, ASD spectrum children, or other emotional disabilities could use the program to help children manage their emotional responses.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
The THINK FEEL DO Feelings Faces Emotional Education Program offers not only ways to help children become aware of their emotions, but learn to manage their emotional responses by changing their thoughts, actions, and bodily feelings. This is done by utilizing the programs easy to use word cards, summary cards, and worksheets.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I did the trial offer and after working with it for a few days, realized it was the perfect program to replace iWeb. I was a avid fan of iWeb, but wouldn't switch back now even if Apple decided to continue hosting mobile me!
What techniques did you use to build this website?
Most of the things I needed to use were already incorporated into your templates! I have used a number of the templates, Erratic,Branching Out and several others. I was able to find exactly the right template to fit the tone of the website. I did make a lot of use of color and HTML snippets for sidebar use.
