Home page tells the story of how we became involved in this diet, the blog tells the story of our involvement in the foods of the low glycemic method of eating, and the links help those interested in finding everything needed to succeed with weight loss or weight control.

The Veterans Administration claims 73% of the patients in any given venue are grossly overweight. The audience is anyone that wants to loose weight easily and keep it off without purchasing a plan, eating manufactured or GMO foods. Anyone that wants to know about what they eat and its effect on the body.

At this point there is no cost involved, education if you seek it and knowledge only available that they must pay for on other sites.

We were invited to dinner at a friends home with the admonition that they didn't eat the typical Austrian diet, but would love it if we would join them for dinner at their home.
We ate a wonderful dinner of salmon, salad, vegetables, and berries and cream for desert. All through the dinner we enjoyed the great Austrian wines..After dinner we were introduced to the method of eating that originated in France by the founder of the low-glycemic method of eating through his book --- which we translated from the German to English.
Years later when diagnosed with Diabetes II, we decided the low glycemic method was an easier and healthier method of eating to achieve a positive outcome...6 months after we started the diet the Doctors took me off the diabetes meds...

The design was chosen for its simplicity and the fact that it could include everything we wanted to put into the site.
