Describe your website.
We use the best materials and techniques to produce the highest quality mosaic art and mosaic installations. As an educator, Aquilo Mosaics endeavors to impart a strong set of technical skills as well as a historical framework and a sense of possibility for this ancient craft in contemporary society. Each mosaic created by Aquilo Mosaics is unique. Each project is carefully designed and executed; each tessera is hand shaped. You won't find "manufactured" pieces here: no factory-cut tesserae or stones, no cutting corners (metaphorically speaking). As a client, you can play as great a role in the design of your commissioned mosaic project as you wish. Aquilo Mosaics is ready to accommodate your degree of involvement. Bold and beautiful and replete with a rich history, mosaics always make a statement.
Mosaics are a beautiful marriage of function and art. Any surface can become a durable work of art.
Who is the target audience for your website?
People interested in my website will be first and foremost, interested in high quality mosaic art. They will be home owners looking for an enhancement to a wall or floor, an architect or landscape architect looking for a qualified mosaic artist to produce and install a work, an interior designer, or decorator searching for fine art to hang or adorn furniture in a clients space.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
My website is better than my competitors because it is easy to navigate, simply laid out, offers an extensive Glossary of terms, and contains many high quality images of my beautiful mosaic art.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
I chose the design I am using because it was very simple and allowed me to modify the banner and surroundings.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
While building my website, I converted the application to allow the home page to be a photo page instead of the usual text page.
