Our toy poodle site is a tribute to my families life time obsession wit our toy poodles. From the 50s to today they are still our best friends. At Mountain Mist our tiny toy poodle pups are healthy, happy, and home raised. We are AKC registered & our little pups are true gems with many champions in their background!
Who is the target audience for your website?
In short they are dog people. Our toy poodle families are well versed pet owners and toy poodle ambassadors. We have owners that range from showers to, therapy dog handlers, to loving families. These families typically have children in primary school through college, and have lots of time to love, care for, and play with their toy poodles. In return our dogs are loving family members, pack leaders, and snuggle puppies who continually provide entertainment, kisses, and lighthearted moments.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
Omg our fans love Facebook! They also love our blog posts, and know who we are. Our site speaks to our hobby kennel life style and let's puppy mill owners know to stay away. Our families are very vocal about their appreciation for our expertise in toy poodles and regularly share stories that we also feature on our site.

We often find 50s flare that links to pals on Etsy which is a great way to network. We also include poodle lore on our blog that helps spread the word about just how cool pure bread toy poodles are! Trendy poodle mixes come & go but the classic style of toy poodles remain!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
By including the contact form right on the main page People don't have to hunt for contact info. They can just set up an appointment to meet their pups. On our main page. Our little ladies & gentlemen are excited to meet them so we can't delay :)
What techniques did you use to build this website?
Social plugins are key for networking with potential clients. We also have had great feed back from AKC and other consumer sites like Petco, PetStages Toys, and NewVet Labs.
