My mother's work, technique & background:
"I am a painter and sculptor who explores the bond between the physical and spiritual worlds through the power of light. Much of my work incorporates oil paint on a sculptural base. Through this medium I can give the power of light depth and drama"
Who is the target audience for your website?
Fans of my mother's work. She has a page about her studio and her work where she describes how her life experiences have shaped her perspective on art and her focus on depiction energy and the balance of light & dark.
What is the advantage of your website over others?
The photographs look really professional. The web site depicts her image as a serious contemporary artist who is actively showing & selling her work. She is able to easily add new work on the fly, add comments through Facebook & share her story with fans with the integrated commenting tools.
Tell us a story about this website.
My mom has become very active on linkedin by posting her site updates & starting conversation based on her work posted in the gallery online. She now has a global fan base which is very inspirational for me- she is not a computer guru but it sure looks like it with this tool- go mom!!
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
Sandvox is easy to use & integrate. Updates are a breeze and her web page is hands down the best of all the artists at our shows. We get tons of compliments on it.
