What kind of websites were you planning to build?
A website to 1) Show my photographs, 2) to post articles on my photographic travels, and 3) to post articles about photographic tips I have learned.
I have built several website in the past, and some from templates including CSS so code was not a major difficulty. Showing photos in a smooth and user pleasing manner without resorting to (SE despising) Flash was another story. I was also very conscious of SEO factors. I researched Sandvox thoroughly and concluded that the software solved both those concerns. While still not as comprehensive as writing HTML from scratch, Sandvox does an awesome job for my application and is highly recommended for anyone not versed in HTML. I referred Sandvox to a friend looking for exactly that and he now has a 60-page website in the making and is 'over the moon' with the ease and appearance of Sandvox.

What made you decide to get Sandvox?
From past web building experience from scratch, easy site building and rebuilding, no fuss publishing and clean site structure (with site map) were high on my priority list; not only for my benefit but also my readers and the Search engines. Sandvox romped past the finish line with barely another runner in sight.
Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?
Sandvox offered me several of what I would call a clean themes. In my views a photography site is marred by excessive competing graphics and Sandvox delivered. The ability to switch objects on and off across different pages in the sidebar is a very clever and endearing feature.
