What kind of websites were you planning to build?

My site was developed to promote the travel writing and photography side of my business. I needed a program that would enable me to create libraries of photos with links to associated articles both within the site itself and to another, much larger, site where the majority of my articles are published.

How did you hear about Sandvox?

I'm fairly sure I came across Sandvox via the Mac OS X Software link; if Apple include programs here, I tend to trust them more than those that pop up in a Google search.

What made you decide to get Sandvox?

I chose Sandvox based on a combination of:
(1) the fact that it was "recommended" by Apple in that it appeared in the Mac OS X Software link,
(2) the fact that it was specifically developed for Mac,
(3) the good reviews of magazines
(4) and, most importantly, its claimed intuitiveness / usability.

Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?

I'm not one for reading anything other than the basics in manuals so I was pleased to find that I could actually start building after just a few minutes of picking up the basics. Even the slightly more involved tasks can usually be "worked out" in a couple of attempts.

The thing that probably warmed me most to Sandvox however was a long-running and frustrating problem! For some reason, adding a single picture or changing the order of libraries would cause the program to slow down or even crash. Your support team - in the form of Mike Abdullah - was extraordinarily patient and committed to resolving it. It took some weeks but we got there.

What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?
