What kind of websites were you planning to build?

A professional site, something a little bit more than a landing page, was needed and I've had Sandvox sitting about for a long time as a tool waiting to be picked up...

How did you hear about Sandvox?

It was a long, long, long time ago and I've forgotten. So long ago I had bought version 1 and when I was ready to write my site I "needed" to upgrade to version 2.

What made you decide to get Sandvox?

The original reason is long forgotten but some seed was deep in my mind as I a) hadn't deleted it and b) chose to upgrade to version 2 as soon as I noticed the new version (plus I had lost my version 1 serial number and whilst I knew I'd get a copy of it).... I didn't need a trial. I must have had confidence.

Now that you have Sandvox, what do you like about it?

It just works. It does the job and does the job well. Sure, it is not the most fully-featured program but that is no bad thing. It focuses on the core. It is a work tool for everyone and the 1% who need really "pro level" tools will have those tools anyway. The other 99% of us can happily use Sandvox.

What would be a good way to search for a program like Sandvox?

“The best anecdote is Sandvox. Like one of the awards' speeches: "I thank my family, my friends and Sandvox, without whom I wouldn't be here today..."”
