Nocturnal Aviation Software develops programming tools for Mac Fortran programmers. The site describes FCode, which, much like Apple's Xcode, is a one window Fortran project manager IDE that allows the programmer to build, edit, execute and document the results of a Fortran code. We also have a blog on the site that we use to discuss FCode, Fortran, and scientific computing on the Mac in general.

FCode, and Nocturnal Aviation Software's products and web site will be of interest to scientists, engineers and students who write and manage Fortran code projects and who are looking for a one window development environment designed specifically for Fortran, the Mac, and high performance computing.

FCode is the only project manager IDE designed for Mac Fortran programmers that works with multiple Fortran compilers. It has an uncluttered Mac interface not found in cross-platform IDEs. It works with a variety of Fortran compilers, both free and commercial. Unlike Xcode, it manages module dependencies for a one click build of even the most complicated projects. FCode leverages the Mac's UNIX core so that the programmer doesn't have to!

I tried out many, but have always gravitated to the colors that this template uses. I like the simple format, which looks good without being flashy. The screenshot navigation pages look particularly nice to me.

I pretty much added the standard things. Sandvox has all of the parts I needed - Basic pages, sidebars, blog, screeenshot management (collection) that made it easy to make the site. It took nothing special on my part - and this is the hallmark of great software!
