Describe your website.
Our site is designed to attract photography clients in Allen, Plano, Frisco and all other local North Dallas, Texas areas and to serve as a gallery to view our studio products.
Who is the target audience for your website?
We provide livestyles and commercial photography in Allen, Texas and the North Dallas area both in studio and on location for children, families, couples, maternity and seniors. We provide web and product images for our commercial clients in addition to in-house photo restoration and printing services.
Why did you use this Sandvox design?
My design choice was based on the overall appearance of the design when used with a gallery and the visual simplicity along with a dark background which gave me a little room to play in Photoshop for the image presentation. I also needed a responsive design to be viewed on phone/tablets.
What techniques did you use to build this website?
I used Photoshop and a color checker to match to the background when resizing images and making the images appear uniform while using both portrait and landscape oriented images. I was able to use two of the slideshow modes to make this use possible without visual detection.
